00:56:05 Sebastian O: I don’t have much to report on it, but currently I am looking to bring back my Lego Mindstorms kits. I want to do some robot building and have the convenience of premade parts that already fit together. However I have to figure out how to program the NXT and EV3 in 2026…

01:07:46 Doug Bell: I’d also be interested in reviving my LEGO RCX and NXT bricks.

01:09:44 Sebastian O: Replying to “I don’t have much to…”

In case anyone has experience with programming the LEGO NXT brick in recent years, I would be happy to hear.
The official software has been unsupported for years at this point. I would have to run a pretty old version of MacOS. Or I might be able to run it on Windows. For alternatives, I have found a few resources so far
01:11:01 Sebastian O: @Blake, what do you mean by killing the batteries?
01:12:07 Charles Ihler: I have to drop. I look forward to watching your demonstration once it posts to YouTube @Alexandra Bacula

I assume it could not have actually drained the batteries that fast…

01:54:28 Steven Kaehler: What happens when the person moves closer to the robot? Does it backup?
02:02:32 Steven Kaehler: How fast could the linear actuator move?
02:05:40 Doug Bell: How did you power the umbrella lights?
02:08:25 Doug Bell: So, you could individually aim the robots, then switch to controlling them all and driving them forward and turn together?
02:09:41 Steven Kaehler: Do you have any videos of these performances?
02:13:22 Steven Kaehler: Could you have had three robot control operators?
02:15:22 Doug Bell: How could you, the discrete controller, tell which direction is forward for each robot?
02:16:35 Doug Bell: Had you pre-programmed any motions?
